3 WAYS OF HEALTHY AND ROASTED CHICKPEAS SNACKS

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cans of cooked Chickpeas drained and dry (be careful to don’t break the grains)
  • Olive oil spray
Indian Way
  • 50g Curry powder
  • 3g Salt
  • 3g White pepper
Mexican Way
  • 10g Smoked Paprika
  • 0.5g Cayenne Pepper
  • 5g Cumin Powder
  • 10g Garlic Powder
  • 10g Onion Powder
  • 5g Dry Oregano
  • 3g Salt
Middle East Way
  • 50g Dukkah powder 
  • 3g Salt

PREP:

  1. Pre heat the oven at 180C. Drain the Chickpeas and let them dry.  
  2. Arrange in a tray with baking pepper in a single layer and roast for about 35 to 45 minutes, shaking every while to make sure it doesn’t burn. When they get a gold brown color and are crunch on the outside they will be ready.
  3. Remove from the oven split on 3 equal parts and spray with olive oil than add to the bowl with each special mixture.
Indian Way
In a medium bowl mix 1/3 part of the roasted chickpeas with the curry powder, salt and white pepper until all the grains are coated with the mixture.
Mexican Way
In a medium bowl mix all the spices and add 1/3 part of the roasted chickpeas until all the grains are coated with the mixture.
Middle East Way
In a medium bowl mix 1/3 part of the roasted chickpeas with the dukkah and salt until all the grains are coated with the mixture.
