WHAT IS LEAN GBB?
Lean GBB, also known as Gamma-Butyrobetaine, is the precursor to L-carnitine production in the body. GBB and L-Carnitine levels are always in balance.
By taking a supplement which contains GBB your body will stimulate production of L-Carnitine. This increase will boost your body's rate of metabolism, helping to burn fat, enhance recovery and prevent muscle fatigue.
Benefits of GBB:
1. Weight Loss Through Thermogenesis
GBB has shown to increase thermogenesis in the body and as a result, sweat levels increase too. Thermogenic agents help increase adrenaline, a hormone that stimulates your fat cells to release fatty acids into your bloodstream. Where they are used by your cells for energy, resulting in increased fat burned.
2. Increases fat oxidation
GBB maximises the breakdown of fatty acids within the body and uses fat as a fuel instead of carbohydrates. Increased Carnitine production makes this process occur.
To create energy, the fatty acids enter the mitochondria - the energy factories of our cells. They are then transformed into carbon dioxide, heat and water, making something called ATP in the process. Once converted into ATP, the energy can then be used by the cell to power activities such as exercise, resulting in increased fat burned.
3. Increased energy
GBB enhances L-Carnitine levels which are effective in fuelling your workouts. L-Carnitine helps increase the production of red blood cells which increases the transportation of oxygen throughout your body and muscles. It acts as a great fuel source to help reach peak performance.
4. Enhanced Brain Function
Studies have shown that GBB and L-Carnitine have positive effects on brain function. GBB and L-Carnitine are both useful agents in reversing the decline in brain function associated with brain diseases, including Alzheimer’s. They help to protect the brain from cell damage.
5. Improves heart health
GBB and L-Carnitine help reduce blood pressure and inflammation associated with heart disease. The National Institute of Health conducted a 12 month study which observed a reduction in deaths among patients with heart conditions who were also taking GBB and Carnitine supplements.
When do I take it/ How does Lean GBB work
GBB is commonly found in fat burner supplements, like HyperBurn…
Mix one scoop (5.1g) of HyperBurn with 10 ounces (300 ml) water and consume first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
For accelerated results, consume 1/2 a scoop in the afternoon. We recommend starting with 1/2 a scoop to begin with and working your way up to the full dosage.
